FAQs
-
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes. My license is LIC # C-10 1083517. I am insured, bonded, and I also carry workman's comp.
-
Can you tell me about pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is different. We offer free estimates.
-
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my customers. I inform them of all the choices they have and I like to give them ideas so they can better determine the outcome of the work. I inform them of trending materials and methods, such as wifi connected switches that work with their phones or hardwired camera doorbells. Security is very important now a days, so for instance, having motion sensor switches helps by turning lights on as your pet travels through the house. This way, it makes would-be assailants think that someone is home. I have motion activated switches at my house, and I get calls from my neighbors, telling me they are at the door and thought I was home because certain lights are on. (See? I did a little informing there.)
-
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified and licenses electrician. As an electrician, I have to have a minimum of 32 hours of schooling every 3 years to renew my license. In the 30 years I've been an electrician, I've become an expert pipe bender, high voltage cable splicer, highly experienced with instrumentation and PLC's, CAT IV and CAT VI, running and terminating. I also install a lot of Tesla chargers, camera systems, electric gate openers and I'm great at trouble shooting AC systems. (When your condenser is not running, its usually not motor failure, it's a capacitor failure. Call me so I can take a look and save you thousands of dollars.)
-
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always wanted to see how things work or what makes them work. I applied with the IBEW and they accepted me.
-
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have had the pleasure of working for a wide variety of customers. I have done retail, commercial, industrial, medical and residential work. I have many upscale customers that I have serviced for many years.
-
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
All Of them. A happy customer is what I strive for!
-
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they are not only licensed but certified and bonded as well. Also, they need to carry at least a $2 million dollar insurance policy. Make sure that they know what they are doing. I have seen a lot of poorly done electrical work on the job. This is not only dangerous, it costs people thousands of dollars to fix.

What should customers know before talking to a professional about their electrical project?
Please keep in mind that electrical jobs take a lot of parts, even for a simple job. Electrical material can be expensive, especially wire, and especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. You can't do an electrical job without wire even though the wire is expensive. When you hire an electrician, you are paying for their knowledge, decades of experience, and professional work ethic.
